Electronic Artwork
Electronic artwork is strongly recommended for the best quality imprint. All graphic files should be submitted in a vector-based format. MAC file names must be appended with the correct file extension. Artwork generated in the following software programs is accepted:
Preferred: Adobe® Illustrator® files saved in AI, EPS, or PDF format with all text turned to outline. Artwork created in any other program will be imported into Illustrator®. Please prepare artwork files accordingly.
Also Accepted: Acrobat® PDF (Press Quality); Adobe® Photoshop® files saved in TIFF, PSD or EPS formats, 300 dpi or higher.
General Guidelines for Digital Artwork:
- Minimum Type Size: 6 pt.
- Minimum Line Thickness: .5 pt.
- Bleeds require a 1/8" margin past the die cut edge of the product.
- RGB files must be converted to CMYK.
- Always provide a list of fonts, font styles, and PMS colors used in artwork in case of conversion when artwork is imported.
- Submit fonts used in artwork with digital artwork file.
- Embed backgrounds in artwork or submit backgrounds with digital artwork file.
If artwork does not meet specifications, an Art Fee will be charged based on the amount of time needed to bring up to specifications. Prices will vary. Call for details. File may be sent on a CD or USB drive via mail or via email. Emailed artwork should be sent to: artwork@nwpromos.com.
Please reference purchase order number in the subject line of email. When emailing revised artwork, please mark it as "REVISED" in subject line.
Typesetting
Unless specifically instructed, Nationwide Promotions, LLC reserves the right to re-arrange copy. Copy will be set in standard copy format unless specific instructions are provided with the order. If a specific type style is required, the font name must be specified on purchase order.
Fax/Email Proofs
Email and fax proofs are available for an additional charge of $20.00(R). Purchase orders must specify when a proof is required prior to production and the email address or fax number the proof should be sent to. If purchase order requests a paper proof, a fax proof will b working days for proof. When proof is requested on purchase order, order will not go into production until proof approval has been received. Nationwide Promotions, LLC disclaims any and all liability for shipments delayed by customer's late/delayed proof approval.
PMS Color Matching
PMS (Pantone® Matching System) color matching is available free of charge on all indoor and outdoor magnets, and for $35.00(R) per color on all other products. PANTONE Matching System (PMS) number must be specified on purchase order. PMS color matching not available on all products. Due to variations in inks and raw materials, some matches are not possible.
Copy/Color Changes
Change of ad copy and/or imprint color is subject to a $25.00(R) charge per change.
Art Appearance
Nationwide Promotions, LLC is not responsible for detecting errors in customer supplied art/copy. Nationwide Promotions, LLC assumes no liability for how the art or imprint "appears" on a product unless a production sample has been requested and approved. Unless otherwise instructed, Nationwide Promotions, LLC reserves the right to rearrange copy or changed specified type styles or type sizes for best appearance and/or to meet factory printing specifications. Layout will be followed as closely as possible. Due to the shape of the circle/oval magnets, artwork may not be perfectly centered on each magnet.
Art Compliance
Nationwide Promotions, LLC assumes no liability for trademark and copyright infringements on customer supplied artwork. Material submitted is assumed to be in compliance with applicable laws. Distributor agrees to hold harmless and defend Nationwide Promotions, LLC against all costs and expenses as a result of any legal action, including reasonable attorney fees and expenses.
